Based on Henry-Payne the Model 3 made the top of the list for “Detroit News Vehicle of the Year”
Okay, so what does that mean? Henry Payne, from The Detroit News, tests more than 60 new vehicles of the year of a wide range of options. From pickups, SUVs, sedans, and much more.
He spoke on different options and values even into the luxury of BMW, Audi, and Mercedes.
What about power? Well, also tested was the Dodge Hellcat, the 797-horse powerhouse! Interesting to note however the Tesla Model S P100 is still a touch faster in 0-60 than the Hellcat (oh yeah!).
The second runner-up was the Ford Ranger. Then, the first runner-up was the Chevy Corvette ZR1. In the end its the little Model 3 that takes the cake! Congrats Tesla!
